The med@com is a multifunctional terminal for hospital communications that has been developed by Avionic Design. The multi-purpose terminal is comprehensive patient entertainment platform and can be used to access a patients data-base, improving workflow in hospitals.
The med@com improves and optimises hospital workflow through electronic patient files, food ordering and documentation at the patient bed. By a soft touch of a finger on the intuitive touch screen menu, the patient can surf the net, watch TV and use many services from the IT world. In order to meet different demands we offer a variety of system components such as DSL-modems, DSLAMs, video server and complete installation support.
Avionic Design GmbH is proud to announce the first aviation-ready Tegra2 processor module on the market. Coming as a double-height S0-DIMM module, compatible with the NVIDIA Harmony development board, it helps to keep engineering costs low and shortens software porting times. As such it is part of Avionic Design's Custom-Carrier initiative.
